1. Ceramic nozzle (porcelain nozzle) Core function: Gas guidance: Through the precise inner hole design, the shielding gas (argon) is guided to evenly cover the molten pool, isolating the air to prevent the weld from oxidation; Arc protection: Protect the tungsten electrode from metal splash contamination and maintain the arc concentration; Heat insulation: The ceramic material (alumina) is resistant to high temperature and heat insulation, avoiding burns during operation and insulation to prevent short circuit.
2. Tungsten needle clamp Core function: Electrode fixation: Clamp the tungsten needle (such as cerium tungsten electrode) to ensure its stable position during welding and avoid deviation and arc dispersion; Current conduction: Copper or alumina materials provide high conductivity, efficiently transfer current to the tip of the tungsten needle, and improve arc stability; High temperature adaptation: Supports commonly used tungsten needle diameters and is suitable for welding of materials such as stainless steel and aluminum alloys.
3. Long gun tail and short gun tail
Type Function Long gun tail : Extend the tail interface of the welding gun (15-20cm), which is convenient for operation in deep seams and narrow spaces, and reduces the swing limit of the welding gun; Short gun tail : Compact design (≤10cm), suitable for conventional flat welding, improves operational flexibility and reduces weight burden.
General function : Connect the gas pipe, cable and welding machine body, seal the interface to prevent gas leakage, and ensure the connectivity of the gas path/circuit.
4. Flow guide Core function :
Airflow optimization : Guide the shielding gas to flow from the inside of the gun body to the ceramic nozzle in a directional manner, eliminate turbulence, and enhance the gas protection effect; Heat dispersion : Some designs contain heat dissipation structures to assist in reducing the temperature of the welding gun head and extend the life of accessories; Anti-clogging design : Smooth inner wall reduces welding slag accumulation and is easy to maintain.
Adaptation and maintenance points Accessory coordination : The ceramic nozzle needs to be closely matched with the tungsten needle clamp to avoid gas leakage; long/short gun tails are selected according to the working space to improve efficiency.
Replacement cycle:
Replace when the ceramic nozzle is cracked or the inner hole is carbonized;
Replace when the tungsten needle clamp is worn and the clamping becomes loose.
Note: Poor quality guide parts or ceramic nozzles can easily cause gas protection failure, leading to weld oxidation, arc instability and other problems.
